# Rune

Runes can be obtained by combining Rune Pieces Rune Pieces can be combined by going to Rune Inventory > Rune Pieces menu. 

★1 - ★6 Runes exist and higher rank Runes will have higher stats. Mercenaries cannot equip Runes that are of higher rank than them. 

For example, ★4 Mercenary cannot equip a ★5-6 Runes. 

Dual Runes can be obtained from the Rune Temple. Dual Runes have 2 stats which can be used in a variety of ways.

Enchant

* Rune Enchant has a success probability. When succeeding, their Enchant level will show up as +1, +2 and so on. Maximum Enchant level is +9. Base stat will increase with every success and a growth grade will be decided at +3, +6, and +9. Growth grade will increase stats following the order of C\<B\<A\<S. Replacing a Rune will unequip the current Rune and equip the new Rune.

* Upgrade Potion
  * Doubles your chance of success when used in Rune Enchanting.

Bonus Options

* Depending on the Rune’s rarity, Runes will have different value within the same rank. Normal, Rare, Rare+, Epic, Epic+, Legend, and Legend+ rarities exist. +rarities will have bonus options available to them.

Refine

* Runes that have completed the final enchant can be refined using Rune Essences to randomly increase their option ranks. Refining will only change the stats when the new stats are higher than the current stats Rune Essences can be obtained by dismantling runes.

Bonus Option

* +rarity Runes have Bonus Options Flat ATK / Percentage ATK / Flat HP / Percentage HP / Crit Rate / Crit DMG / DEF / AGI can be obtained, Endurance / Penetration cannot be obtained.

Mythic Rune

* Mythic Runes can be summoned by going to Main Lobby > Rune > Mythic Rune Summon Page. Mythic Runes are the only way to obtain Endurance and Penetration Stats. Mercenaries’ third Rune Slots can only be used for Mythic Runes.

Summon

* ★6 Dual Rune Pieces of each type and Purified Terra is required.

Enchant

* Mythic Rune Enchant requires Runes of the same Enchant level. It does not use other materials beside the Rune. Mythic Rune Enchant will always succeed.

Refine

* At +9, Mythic Runes can be refined. Purified Terra is required to refine.
